The Ask: The CarMax team approached One North to craft an employee manifesto that leveraged the new EVP and built on CarMax’s “Love What You Do” platform. These manifestos would then serve as anchors for new careers site copy and OOH ads.
The Approach: Working with a brand strategy lead, we took a deep dive into CarMax's new EVP and employee research to better understand the people they want to hire. From there, we crafted two manifestos and a few design directions for the CarMax team.
The Result: Once the CarMax team decided on their concept direction, the design team carried the work forward with a careers landing page reskin and OOH billboard ads.
The Win: I got to work with a brand strategy lead and mentor to better uncover the brand positioning and business needs—in an effort to write manifestos that more perfectly embody those tenets.
