The Ask: NPTC came to us to modernize and optimize their website. The client team admitted they built the site in a rush, and as an afterthought. As a wealth management site, the new version needed to give potential customers confidence to work with NPTC.
The Approach: The website audit was quick—with a small site, there wasn't much to review. The majority of this project was leading stakeholder discussions with the client team to align on a North Star for the new site. I worked closely with the UX strategist to align on opportunities for the IA, new sitemap, and a flexible page template, while also pushing stakeholders to uncover what the site needed to become.
The Result: I was laid off as the Discovery phase ended for this project. However, during my time as lead content strategist on this project, I crafted the path forward based on three key ideas—storytelling and positioning, improved experience and performance, and a refreshed look and feel.
The Win: This was another project where I was a driving force and lead content strategist for both the internal team and the client team. Both teams looked to me as a leader.
